This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Cultivate profitable relationships with business accounts and enhance profitability from both existing and new accounts.
• Recognize business opportunities by leveraging knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services.
• Deliver sales presentations to current and potential clients.
• Educate clients on the advantages of utilizing the organization’s products and services to fulfill their needs.
• Establish and uphold an effective referral network and call program to drive sales.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven to nine years or more of pertinent work experience.
• Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally nationally.
• Previous experience in business card sales/payments.
• Strong sales and new business development abilities, encompassing sales strategies, objectives, and closing techniques.
• Capability to build a book of business through proactive prospecting and the development and utilization of Centers of Influence (COIs).
• Experience working with businesses generating over $2.5MM in annual revenue.
• Proficient in credit analysis and financial assessment.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles related to financial transactions.
• Demonstrated success in developing and leveraging COIs to create new business opportunities.
• Ability to manage pipeline activities with a robust follow-up approach and execution discipline.
• Comprehensive knowledge of payment products and a general understanding of product marketing and organizational operations.
• Strong customer relationship management skills, including negotiation, decision-making, and innovative problem-solving.
• Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage leads, activities, and sales performance.
• Capability to adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
• Ability to meet employment eligibility verification and relevant background-check requirements.
