This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• The Business Analyst/Systems Analyst collaborates with business stakeholders, federal health clients, data science teams, and engineering groups.
• This position is tasked with eliciting, documenting, and managing both business and system requirement specifications to ensure that solutions are traceable, testable, and in alignment with federal health objectives.
• The Analyst is responsible for creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and System Requirement Specifications (SRS), converting vision and business intent into business and technical specifications, and closely working with engineering teams on backend data pipelines, analytics workflows, and system integrations.
• This role aids in functional and non-functional traceability (FTM/Non-FTM), test planning, and validation to assure regulatory compliance, auditability, and operational effectiveness.
• This position is crucial for fostering a shared understanding among stakeholders and facilitating scalable, governed delivery within ICA’s federal health initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, Public Health, Management, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, business development, or management consulting.
• Preferred experience with medical devices and knowledge of 510k processes.
• Proven experience in generating BRD, SRS, and traceability documentation (FTM/Non-FTM).
• Capability to engage directly with engineering teams regarding technical specifications and backend system design discussions.
• Experience in supporting testing, validation, and requirements traceability within complex systems.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with federal contracting, public health initiatives, or regulated environments is advantageous.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and have resided in the US for three or more consecutive years.
• Must be capable and willing to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
