• Construct SQL queries to extract, join, and validate data throughout Curana’s ecosystem.
• Create and refine Excel-based models and analyses to aid in operational decision-making.
• Take charge of ad-hoc analyses prompted by evolving inquiries from operations leadership and cross-functional collaborators.
• Update and maintain recurring reports with high accuracy and minimal error rates.
• Convert analytical results into well-organized tables, charts, and summary-level insights.
• Prepare presentations and written summaries that effectively communicate findings to internal stakeholders, including members of the executive leadership team.
• Provide support in data diligence, analytics, reporting, and communication for operations and scaling initiatives.
• Conduct early-idea feasibility analyses and evaluate cross-team conclusions as opportunities arise.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements, addressing questions and facilitating smooth execution.
• Assist in crafting test plans and executing testing for reports and analytics tools prior to UAT deployment.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency across analytical and operational workflows.
• Automate and optimize repetitive analytical processes.
• Develop reusable queries, models, and analysis templates that enhance repeatability.
• Maintain SOP-style documentation for recurring analytical workflows.
• 0–2+ years of experience in an analytical role (internship or full-time); healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel, including modeling-level skills.
• Experience with SQL, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn SQL.
• Demonstrated capability to work with messy, ambiguous data and produce clean, defensible results.
• Strong analytical discipline: you validate your outputs before distribution and prioritize accuracy in your numbers.
• Ownership mentality: you proactively pursue progress, communicate obstacles early, and take responsibility for your deliverables.
• Clear and frequent communication style; comfortable both giving and receiving direct feedback.
• Genuine interest in healthcare operations and a readiness to quickly grasp complex workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, healthcare, or related field.
