Business Analyst, QA Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Lead the process of gathering, clarifying, and documenting requirements to establish testable acceptance criteria.

• Generate and uphold clear, organized testing artifacts such as test cases, scenarios, feature files, and traceability matrices.

• Provide recommendations, facilitate decision-making, and ensure the team is prepared for execution.

• Collaborate with Technical Architects and automation engineers to synchronize manual and automated testing coverage.

• Engage in reviews where the implications of requirements and testing are pertinent.

• Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring visibility of scope, risks, and dependencies.

• Promote ongoing enhancement of Business Analysis and testing processes within a multi-team environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5–6+ years of experience in Business Analysis, with a strong emphasis on Quality Assurance.

• Demonstrated hybrid capabilities in Business Analysis and testing (either a BA with robust testing skills or a tester with strong BA knowledge).

• Strong understanding of test design and Gherkin/feature file writing.

• Comfortable working with pull requests and collaborating with engineers (familiarity with Git is a plus).

• Experience in payments, accounts, or access control is highly beneficial.

• A self-motivated individual who provides structure in execution-focused environments; capable of taking ownership of outcomes.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills: clear, precise, and suitable for client presentation.
