Business Analyst, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements.

• Develop and organize functional requirements from the ground up (no pre-existing documentation).

• Convert business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and UI/UX specifications.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers on user flows, wireframes, and interface logic.

• Assist in establishing lightweight yet scalable documentation standards (requirements, flows, specs).

• Engage in product discovery and contribute to shaping solutions early in the product lifecycle.

• Support developers by ensuring clarity of requirements throughout the implementation process.

• Review UI implementations to verify alignment with business expectations.

• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for enhancing processes and products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst in IT projects.

• Extensive experience collaborating with UI/UX teams on web or mobile applications.

• Proven ability to create structure in ambiguous or undefined environments.

• Experience in translating business needs into clear and actionable functional requirements.

• Understanding of user flows, UI behavior, and principles of interaction design.

• Experience working closely with developers and designers in cross-functional teams.

• Nice to Have:

• Experience in early-stage or rapidly growing product environments.

• Familiarity with Figma or other similar UI design tools.

• Basic understanding of APIs and the communication between frontend and backend.

• Experience in SaaS, fintech, or operations-intensive products.
