Business Analyst – Data Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Purchasing teams to identify challenges and create effective workflow solutions.

• Lead analyses of current-state, future-state, gaps, requirements, and business processes for integration projects.

• Engage directly with data for purposes of analysis, validation, mapping, migration, and troubleshooting.

• Assist in enterprise digital strategy initiatives and foster the adoption of enhanced tools and processes.

• Examine business processes to pinpoint opportunities for reducing friction and enhancing operations.

• Monitor trends in data analytics, data strategy, automation, and cloud-based data operations.

• Illustrate how interconnected data supports business objectives, addresses pain points, and enhances decision-making.

• Cultivate an understanding of data-related products and link technical capabilities to business value.

• Identify data and integration opportunities that can enhance business strategies and operational results.

• Establish relationships with decision-makers, business users, and technology stakeholders.

• Assist in the development of business cases by outlining opportunities, value, approach, and delivery considerations.

• Steer delivery from the discovery and planning phase through to execution and adoption.

• Organize working sessions, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and vendor discussions.

• Collect, document, validate, and clarify business and technical requirements.

• Coordinate the delivery of technical solutions, address blockers, and support implementation efforts.

• Lead selected initiatives and facilitate practical problem-solving.

• Define and assist with test case execution.

• Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure adopted and sustained outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with business or technology analysis platforms.

• Proficiency with MS SharePoint, MS Power Automate, MS Power Apps, MS Dataverse, MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Looker Studio, Apps Script, Triana, or similar platforms.

• Experience in data migration, API management, cloud integration technologies, and CMMS systems.

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate or related technology-function experience that supports complex business operations.

• Capability to connect business operations, technology requirements, and delivery execution.

• Proficiency in understanding complex business processes and translating them into technical activities, requirements, and action plans.

• Strong skills in influencing and negotiation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Skill in conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Fluency in English is required.

• Willingness to work outside of core business hours as necessary.

• Preference for an East Coast schedule.

• Additional language skills are advantageous.
