Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Perform market research and competitive analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential threats.

• Assist in strategic planning by evaluating industry benchmarks, customer requirements, and emerging technologies.

• Convert strategic objectives into actionable business needs and performance indicators.

• Work alongside product managers and technical teams to outline product features, roadmaps, and user stories.

• Examine usage data and feedback to guide product improvements and innovation strategies.

• Aid in the creation of new tools and platforms (such as PowerApps, SharePoint, Power BI) for project tracking and performance assessment.

• Gather, validate, and analyze financial, operational, and customer data to pinpoint performance gaps and areas for improvement.

• Create dashboards, KPIs, and visual representations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Excel.

• Prepare and deliver reports to stakeholders, translating complex data into straightforward, strategic insights.

• Lead cross-functional workshops, lessons-learned sessions, and strategic alignment discussions.

• Act as a bridge between business units, technical teams, and clients to ensure clarity and alignment regarding goals and deliverables.

• Assist in change management and the adoption of new processes and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, product development, or strategy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; experience in market research and strategic planning.

• Proficient in data visualization and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL).

• Knowledge of Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills; capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
