• Act as the main liaison between customer business requirements and the technical teams at Convr.
• Gather, document, and convert underwriting, data workflows, and requirements into precise business and technical specifications for the Convr AI platform.
• Evaluate the quality, coverage, reliability, and business significance of new data sources.
• Analyze and align insurance data from various sources into a canonical schema.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine schema designs as new use cases develop.
• Ensure that requirements are in sync with customer challenges and desired business results.
• Work closely with Engineering teams to configure and launch the Convr Underwriting Workbench according to customer-specific integration and underwriting requirements.
• Confirm that underwriting rules, workflows, and AI-driven decision-making are correctly implemented and fully operational within the platform.
• Collaborate with product, professional services, and analytics teams to convert business requirements into data requirements.
• Assist AI/ML, analytics, and reporting initiatives by ensuring data completeness, accuracy, and proper modeling.
• Develop clear documentation, diagrams, and materials for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required (ideally in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline).
• Underwriting Domain Expertise: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Commercial P&C Insurance sector.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and contemporary data platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze large, semi-structured or structured datasets.
• Technical Business Analysis: Proven experience in gathering complex business requirements and converting them into technical specifications.
• Outstanding communication and documentation abilities.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies while collaborating with product and engineering teams.
• Advanced skills in Excel (for data mapping and tracking) and experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, or Monday.com).
