Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gain insights into business objectives, processes, and requirements.

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and analysis sessions to gather and document user stories, use cases, and both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Document business requirements, business cases, functional specifications, and user stories.

• Identify standard system processes by evaluating real-time data.

• Analyze and establish user requirements for systems in production to ensure optimal usability.

• Partner with stakeholders across sales, finance, security, and compliance to develop analyses and documentation.

• Assess and communicate system requirements, while maintaining system processes, including monthly status reports.

• Foster partner relationships to enhance system integration and provide research and recommendations in response to managers' and executives' inquiries.

• Create business requirements documents, functional requirements documents, and use case specifications.

• Develop process models, workflow diagrams, prototypes, wireframes, and user journey flows.

• Collaborate with IT architects, technical teams, and vendors to design viable solutions.

• Evaluate Convatec systems and suggest improvements or new solutions to streamline processes.

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Work alongside project managers, developers, and testers to ensure successful project delivery.

• Design systems prototypes aimed at enhancing efficiency and productivity.

• Conduct quality assurance throughout the systems development process and communicate findings.

• Assist in test planning and support the development of test cases.

• Participate in user acceptance testing to confirm that solutions meet business expectations.

• Facilitate the handover of new solutions and documentation to Operations Teams.

• Background in the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical Industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar capacity.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.

• Experience with prototypes, wireframes, and user journey flows.

• Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Experience in Medical Device Technology or Healthcare is a plus.

• Familiarity with data analysis, SQL, or business intelligence tools.

• Business Analysis certification such as CBAP or other relevant professional certifications.

• Experience with SAP/SAP S/4HANA, QMS, PLM, MES, and CRM systems is valued.

• Proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.
