Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the team to improve the client's current systems by integrating a centralized database solution.

• Remove duplicate and redundant data systems, enhancing the tracking and regulation of licensing, compliance, and laboratory operations.

• Optimize services for consumers and facilitate more comprehensive reporting, including real-time monitoring of applicants, licensees, and compliance performance metrics.

• Evaluate and document current business processes utilizing expertise in Business Process Improvement (BPI) methodologies.

• Perform data and process analyses to detect inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Create, recommend, and implement strategies for process improvement to enhance performance, including Business Process and Workflow diagrams.

• Identify data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of process modifications and promote sustainable improvements.

• Offer guidance and training to staff on process modifications.

• Lead and support ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency throughout the client's organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess at least five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes in IT projects within the last ten (10) years.

• Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of three (3) years of experience applying analytical processes in business systems analysis and design is required.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.

• Within the last ten (10) years, five (5) years of experience supporting organizational change related to IT system implementations is essential.

• A current Prosci Organizational Change Management Certification is required.

• Within the last ten (10) years, at least one (1) year of experience with the Accela Civic Platform or Accela licensing and enforcement modules is necessary.

• A background in business process mapping, future-state design, and stakeholder engagement is required within the last ten (10) years.

• Experience within the last ten (10) years working with licensing, enforcement, compliance, or regulatory personnel is necessary.

• Within the last ten (10) years, the ability to translate technical changes into operational impacts for end users is required.
