This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Map out current-state workflows in their entirety across IT, Support, Finance, HR, and Engineering, including exceptions and edge cases that reside in operators' minds rather than in documentation.
• Facilitate working sessions with process owners and frontline staff to capture implicit knowledge and transform it into rules, decision logic, and instructions that automation or agents can adhere to.
• Collect requirements and compose clear specifications that outline success metrics, potential failure modes, and the specific human-in-the-loop checkpoints necessary for safe deployment.
• Utilize a triage methodology for every candidate workflow to determine whether it should be automated, managed by agents, or handled solely by humans, and document the reasoning for those decisions to ensure auditability.
• Establish and uphold the baseline metrics behind ECI's AI workflow commitments, ensuring that progress is reported based on actual figures rather than estimates.
• Develop the candidate-workflow portfolio in alignment with ECI's evaluation criteria: frequency, repeatability of decisions, context spread across systems, and measurable pain points.
• Directly implement automations using Salesforce Flow, low-code and no-code platforms (such as Power Automate, Zapier-class tools, and internal Abacus capabilities), as well as emerging agentic AI technologies.
• Write light scripts in Python, JavaScript, and SQL, and facilitate integration across SaaS systems through REST APIs and webhooks when no-code tooling falls short.
• Set up agent guardrails, evaluation prompts, and feedback loops; design for graceful failure when the agent is uncertain rather than crafting solutions that could lead to confidently incorrect answers.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering and Application teams to safely deploy integrations on top of existing systems (Salesforce, Vonage, Workday, JSM) without necessitating migrations.
• Create the instrumentation needed to validate that automation is functioning properly, including logging, dashboards, and drift detection, enabling comparative analysis of shadow-mode and production performance on the same metrics.
• Maintain a clear, documented inventory of builds so that any automation can be transitioned, audited, or rolled back without relying on undocumented knowledge.
• Process each workflow through a phased delivery model: sandbox build shadow mode (where agents observe and humans decide), supervised production (where agents act and humans review), and into steady state.
• Uphold human-in-the-loop discipline at every phase boundary; no automation advances to the next stage without measurable evidence and approval from an owner.
• Manage regular progress reporting on AI workflow delivery, detailing which workflows were deployed, the measured impact of each, and a credible forecast for the upcoming quarter.
• Coordinate with other technical resources when an AI workflow intersects with active initiatives such as M&A integration playbooks, platform consolidations, and compliance projects.
• Over 5 years of combined experience in business analysis, automation or low-code implementation, and project or program management.
• Proficiency in at least two of these areas is essential.
• Proven ability to map cross-functional workflows in their entirety, including exceptions and undocumented decision points, and produce a specification that an engineer or agent can execute.
• Hands-on experience in building automations using at least two of the following: Salesforce Flow, Power Automate, n8n, Zapier-class platforms, Claude Code, or similar low-code tools.
• Direct experience in deploying an automation or AI workflow to production with a measurable before-and-after comparison, rather than a pilot that existed solely in user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Disciplined project management practices: writing and delivering status updates, conducting phase gates, measuring outcomes against committed targets, and communicating risks proactively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating a workflow, a measurement, and trade-offs to both technical and executive audiences.
• Comfortable working across various SaaS systems and integrating them via APIs; able to comprehend documentation and prototype an integration without waiting for engineering assistance.
• Occasional domestic travel (up to ~10%) for working sessions with process owners and IT leadership.
