Bulgarian/English OPI/VRI Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a courteous manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during a conversation.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific terminology relevant to the industry in which the interpreter operates, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages, ensuring no additions, omissions, or substitutions.

• Deliver exemplary customer service throughout the interpretation process.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and thorough interpretation of messages.

• Implement standards of practice in all interactions.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Maintain communication and provide updates to your team leader.

• Adhere to the dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Bulgarian".

• International certifications in the healthcare sector are advantageous (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• Possess a high school diploma in your native language.

• Exhibit high emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Demonstrate strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
