Bulgarian to English OPI/VRI Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Professionally respond to calls while adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Possess knowledge of industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Accurately convey all messages in their entirety, without alterations, omissions, or additions.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the interpreting process.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and Clients by providing precise and complete interpretations.

• Implement established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Demonstrate a willingness to pursue additional professional certifications.

• Maintain communication and provide reports to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code standards for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Bulgarian".

• Over one year of experience in telephone interpretation within a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• International healthcare certifications are a plus (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Demonstrated high emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
