Bulgarian OPI/VRI Interpretation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry in which you are interpreting, particularly healthcare and medical terms.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages, ensuring no additions, omissions, or substitutions are made.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service during interpretation sessions.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and complete interpretation of messages.

• Apply established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and provide reports to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluent in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Bulgarian".

• International certifications in the healthcare industry are advantageous (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Strong emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
