Buildings & Communities Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of attractive later-living developments throughout the Home Counties and East & West Sussex.

• Guide onsite teams to provide outstanding customer experiences while ensuring effective financial oversight.

• Guarantee that all developments adhere to regulatory and statutory health & safety standards.

• Manage operational budgets and service charge accounts, generating quarterly reports and year-end financial statements.

• Collaborate with the Central Services team to define scopes of work and evaluate contractor service quality.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in multi-site residential property, estate, or asset management.

• Skilled in managing comprehensive and transparent service charges, budgeting, and financial reporting, with the capability to communicate financial details to residents.

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, building maintenance systems, and conducting formal site inspections.

• Significant experience in leading, motivating, and managing a regional team with several direct reports.

• Proven history of delivering exceptional customer service, resolving complex inquiries, and handling challenging conversations with confidence.

• A full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are essential.

• A TPI/(or equivalent) qualification is highly preferred.

• Proficient IT skills with experience in property-related software; familiarity with Google Workspace is advantageous but not mandatory.
