BTP Architect – Presales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Practical experience in one or more BTP pillars: Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Data & Analytics, ABAP Environment / BTP ABAP Cloud.

• Collaborate with an expanding team focused on business process and technological innovation.

• Participate in pre-sales initiatives, working closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions.

• Lead SAP pre-sales activities leveraging robust ABAP and BTP expertise for innovative outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7–10 years of overall SAP experience, including at least 4+ years specifically in SAP BTP, SAP ABAP & Fiori Development.

• At least 3 years of pre-sales experience with SAP ABAP and SAP BTP.

• Proficient in ABAP skills such as Core ABAP — OO ABAP, Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, SmartForms/Adobe Forms.

• Experience with ABAP on HANA — CDS Views, AMDP, and performance optimization.

• Knowledge of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) for cloud extensions.

• Familiarity with ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and clean core compliance checks.

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Cloud integration and extensibility patterns (side-by-side, in-app).

• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Proficient in modern development stacks including CAP (Cloud Application Programming model), Node.js, Java, Fiori/UI5.

• Strong comprehension of security, identity management (IAS/IPS), and BTP subaccount landscape design.

• Preferred: SAP BTP certifications (e.g., C_BTP_2409 or equivalent).

• Experience with SAP Signavio, SAP Build Process Automation, or SAP AI Core/Launchpad.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines on BTP.

• Previous experience in responding to large enterprise or government RFPs.
