Brokerage Client Service Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Serve as the initial point of contact for clients and broker partners regarding their service needs and concerns.

• Address a wide array of brokerage inquiries that encompass various business functions, including account services, trading, transfers, funding, and operations.

• Execute and manage specific operational requests as directed by the brokerage team and/or clients/broker partners. These tasks may involve order entry, account maintenance, fund distributions, cash and stock journals, and other operational duties.

• Collaborate with multiple internal teams to resolve client issues, which may include the trading desk, brokerage operations, sales team, solutions team, customer success team, engineering, and product teams.

• Assist customers with fundamental technical inquiries, such as questions about API usage, platform navigation, workflow support, and troubleshooting assistance.

• Contribute to special projects and operational initiatives as delegated by management.

• Passionate about Alpaca’s mission and the innovative developments we are pursuing.

• One to two years of experience within the securities industry.

• FINRA Series 7 license or the ability to secure it within the first six months of employment.

• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability, with the capability to excel in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with FINRA, Federal, and SEC regulations.

• Basic knowledge of KYC and client onboarding processes.

• Ability to effectively collaborate and work within a remote team environment.
