This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver outstanding service and support to Empower’s retail clientele while clearly articulating concepts in a straightforward manner.
• Assist customers with trading in Equity, ETF, Mutual Fund, Options, and Fixed Income securities within an inbound call center environment.
• Handle a diverse range of service requests, including account creation, asset transfers, trade facilitation, and maintenance for Empower’s retail offerings.
• Ensure a swift and responsive client experience by taking ownership, providing accurate information, and initiating proactive follow-ups.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Brokerage transactions and regulatory standards, including Corporate Actions, Exchange Rules, Suitability, and Tax Implications.
• Identify leads and opportunities to refer to the Retirement Advisor Team, contributing to the expansion of new business prospects.
• Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are required; fully licensed candidates are preferred.
• FINRA fingerprinting is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, ideally in financial services or a high-volume inbound call center setting.
• Familiarity with equities trading, fixed income, and options is essential.
• Experience in retail, IRA, and/or 401K customer service, as well as previous brokerage and mutual fund trading experience, is preferred.
• A robust customer service background, particularly in a high-volume inbound call center environment.
• A solid understanding of the various operational and investment needs of our customers.
• Awareness of current financial markets and retirement account operations.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient technological skills with the ability to multitask across various systems.
• Prior remote work experience is a plus.
