Brewery Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Promote and sell the complete product range of the Boston Beer Company (BBC).

• Devote full attention to selling products and/or expanding the number of product lines in retail establishments such as bars, restaurants, liquor stores, grocery stores, and convenience stores.

• Identify key accounts that are not currently offering BBC products and create a strategy to establish business relationships with these accounts.

• Enhance account conditions and merchandise by constructing displays, reorganizing coolers, and showcasing point-of-sale materials to boost brand visibility.

• Collaborate with distributors to guarantee that orders are placed, products are delivered, and business is thriving at the accounts.

• Conduct training sessions for waitstaff and bartenders, organize beer tastings, and manage evening promotional events.

• The working conditions will vary significantly from day to day due to the customer-facing nature of the role.

• There may be occasional requirements to work on weekends and holidays to meet business needs.

• Some travel may be necessary for meetings and training sessions.

• Regular travel within the market to service retailers and wholesalers is expected.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated, results-driven experience in outside sales or in the food and beverage sector.

• A strong competitive drive combined with an assertive and confident demeanor.

• A valid driver's license, a registered and insured vehicle, and the capability to travel to and from accounts consistently.

• Ability to frequently lift and move cases of beer.

• Capability to climb, kneel, and bend to arrange and showcase point-of-sale materials regularly.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
