This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• A strong passion for riding.
• Organize rider-facing demonstrations and events in your area that attract riders to retail locations.
• Identify riders, get them on Specialized bikes, and guide them to retail.
• Collaborate with the entire team to enhance the rider experience associated with the brand.
• Coordinate logistics with the Field Sales team to facilitate Retailer Education.
• Work with various teams across Specialized to provide the best possible experience for riders.
• Collaborate with the USA Brand Development, Experience, and Marketing team for all USA activations.
• Report on the outcomes of your initiatives.
• Manage the assets provided to you, including the Demo Fleet, Truck, and Trailer.
• Achieve annual goals aimed at increasing rider awareness and driving sales through retail.
• Support the Specialized business and riders throughout the USA field.
• Deliver organized retail training programs on products, sales techniques, and customer experience.
• Launch and onboard retailers to implement premium demo programs.
• Educate staff on how to convert demo riders into bike and equipment sales.
• Facilitate training on Specialized tools (Ride App, Ecosystem, SMB, RM).
• Reinforce merchandising standards that correspond with a premium brand experience.
• Plan and execute retailer ride experiences, demo days, regional activations, and brand events.
• Create activation calendars reflecting retail priorities and NPI launches.
• Organize event logistics, registration, safety planning, land access, and compliance.
• Oversee the deployment of the demo fleet.
• Provide training on electric products, Call to Recycle knowledge, technical education, warranty education, and rider feedback.
• Represent the brand at rides, races, community events, and consumer gatherings.
• Foster community influence through partnerships with local riding groups, trail organizations, and ambassadors.
• Assist in retailer community-building initiatives that enhance rider engagement and loyalty.
• Track demo participation, rider journey, follow-up actions, and retail conversion rates.
• Report on fleet utilization, asset condition, and maintenance planning.
• Provide monthly business dashboards to Sales and BX leadership.
• Maintain growth of the rider opt-in database through event participation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Service, Product, and Experience Center teams.
• Convey field insights for go-to-market strategies, product launches, and retail programs.
• Share competitive insights based on feedback from the market.
• A positive, opportunity-seeking mindset that views challenges as opportunities and finds the silver lining.
• Charismatic and authentic presentation skills, with a natural ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
• Capability to understand consumer needs and drive initiatives based on observed trends.
• Familiarity with powersports events and/or the industry.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, able to balance and prioritize multiple projects with minimal direction.
• Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, lead, negotiate, and influence, particularly when working with cross-functional teams.
• Over 5 years of experience in the industry, with excellent mechanical skills including building/tuning bikes, hydraulic brakes, suspension work, wheel truing, etc.
• Manage a schedule that includes weekend and evening events as a regular part of the role.
• A passion for travel and van life.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
