Brand & Communication Design Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance the brand’s visual identity, ensuring uniformity and superior quality across all marketing and branding touchpoints.

• Convert brand strategy, campaign objectives, and business goals into impactful visual systems and effective design solutions.

• Direct and deliver high-quality design across various mediums, including web, digital, print, social media, email communications, presentations, campaign materials, brochures, merchandise, and brand guidelines.

• Produce high-quality design work directly, particularly during the initial phase of team formation.

• Establish and uphold visual guidelines, templates, and design principles to enhance consistency, quality, and speed of delivery.

• Evaluate design work and offer constructive feedback to guarantee strong execution, consistency, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Oversee multiple projects at once, managing deadlines while maintaining a consistently high level of quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in web design, branding, marketing, and digital design projects.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator); familiarity with 3D and AI tools is advantageous.

• Strong grasp of design principles, including typography, composition, color, visual hierarchy, and storytelling.

• Experience in brand design and digital communication design.

• Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of execution.

• Capability to prioritize, work autonomously, and collaborate across various teams.

• Knowledge of web design principles and basic front-end constraints (HTML/CSS knowledge is a bonus).

• Prior experience in fintech or other rapidly evolving, regulated sectors is essential.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
