Branch/Yard Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide customers with information regarding products and services.

• Accurately pick customer orders.

• Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck.

• Process orders accurately within the specified customer deadlines.

• Serve customers at the trade counter as needed.

• Engage with customers effectively.

• Deliver goods using the company pickup when necessary.

• Support stock management, warehouse operations, yard activities, and general branch functions.

• Help maintain efficient and safe branch operations.

• Uphold the branch's high standards of customer service.

• Participate in branch operations during the planned relocation from Broxburn to Uphall.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Some experience in customer service.

• Proficient in literacy and numeracy.

• Hardworking and helpful demeanor.

• Willingness to undergo training in all operational aspects.

• Understanding of health and safety protocols in the workplace.

• Valid forklift truck license.

• Warehouse experience is preferred.

• Basic computer knowledge is advantageous.
