This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee daily bookkeeping and financial administration tasks.
• Accurately process sales and purchase invoices in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank accounts while maintaining precise financial records.
• Assist with the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Track cash flow and manage outstanding payments effectively.
• Prepare financial documents for the company's accountants.
• Ensure bookkeeping records are precise and financial data is current.
• Supervise the daily administration functions of the business.
• Maintain company records, documents, and internal systems.
• Provide general administrative support to the Director.
• Coordinate business documentation and streamline internal processes.
• Ensure company records are organized, accurate, and compliant.
• Manage documentation related to recruitment compliance.
• Keep candidate and company compliance records updated.
• Monitor expiration dates of documents and ensure timely renewals.
• Support compliance processes in accordance with company and client standards.
• Maintain accurate compliance records throughout the company systems.
• Offer administrative assistance to the broader recruitment team.
• Contribute to process enhancements aimed at boosting operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with management to facilitate smooth daily operations.
• Take charge of recurring administrative and finance tasks with minimal oversight.
• Prior experience as a Bookkeeper, Finance Administrator, or Office Manager.
• Experience in a recruitment agency or consultancy is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and management of daily financial records.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
• High attention to detail and a strong level of accuracy.
• Capability to work independently and manage various priorities effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in computer skills with confidence in using accounting and business systems.
• Experience with Xero, Sage, or similar accounting software.
• Understanding of UK recruitment compliance regulations.
• Background in supporting a small or growing business.
• Experience in payroll administration.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with CRM or recruitment database systems.
