Bookkeeper – E-commerce, Consumer Brands

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accurately enter daily transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

• Conduct reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts.

• Oversee accounts payable operations, including Bill.com and bill runs.

• Document payroll entries and accruals.

• Assist in month-end closing procedures.

• Support financial reporting and client deliverables.

• Engage with clients through Slack and email communications.

• Take part in client calls in a supportive capacity (not leading).

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.

• Practical experience in Accounts Payable (AP), payroll processing, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

• Familiarity with month-end closing processes.

• Capability to manage workload across multiple clients concurrently.

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

• Strong Excel abilities, including proficiency with formulas and data management.

• Established experience in accounts payable and payroll.

• Good understanding of fundamental accounting principles (GAAP).

• Experience in a multi-client environment.

• Excellent communication skills with client-facing experience.

• E-commerce accounting experience is a plus (Shopify, Amazon).

• Extensive experience with Shopify and Amazon reconciliations is preferred.

• Familiarity with inventory accounting is beneficial (ownership not required).
