Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster – Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations, evaluations, and negotiations for bodily injury and uninsured motorist bodily injury claims in a fair and timely manner.

• Perform comprehensive investigations of bodily injury claims, which includes scrutinizing medical records, police reports, and witness statements.

• Assess the severity of injuries and establish liability based on policy coverage, state laws, and legal precedents.

• Liaise with claimants, medical professionals, and other relevant parties to collect necessary information and documentation.

• Review medical reports and bills to evaluate the nature and severity of injuries, thereby determining suitable compensation.

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate and detailed claim files in line with company standards and industry best practices.

• Stay updated on evolving laws, regulations, and industry trends pertaining to the management of bodily injury claims.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or relevant experience in the insurance field.

• At least 2 years of experience managing frontline claims.

• Solid understanding of insurance principles, policies, and procedures.

• A keen interest in medical terminology, anatomy, and injury evaluation.

• Outstanding analytical and decision-making abilities, capable of resolving complex issues and negotiating fair settlements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with a diverse range of individuals.

• Strong negotiation capabilities.

• Proficiency in our claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite, along with the ability to learn and utilize other technologies relevant to the role.
