This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +21 more states.
β’ Conduct investigations, evaluations, and negotiations for bodily injury and uninsured motorist bodily injury claims in a fair and timely manner.
β’ Perform comprehensive investigations of bodily injury claims, which includes scrutinizing medical records, police reports, and witness statements.
β’ Assess the severity of injuries and establish liability based on policy coverage, state laws, and legal precedents.
β’ Liaise with claimants, medical professionals, and other relevant parties to collect necessary information and documentation.
β’ Review medical reports and bills to evaluate the nature and severity of injuries, thereby determining suitable compensation.
β’ Ensure the maintenance of accurate and detailed claim files in line with company standards and industry best practices.
β’ Stay updated on evolving laws, regulations, and industry trends pertaining to the management of bodily injury claims.
β’ A bachelor's degree or relevant experience in the insurance field.
β’ At least 2 years of experience managing frontline claims.
β’ Solid understanding of insurance principles, policies, and procedures.
β’ A keen interest in medical terminology, anatomy, and injury evaluation.
β’ Outstanding analytical and decision-making abilities, capable of resolving complex issues and negotiating fair settlements.
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with a diverse range of individuals.
β’ Strong negotiation capabilities.
β’ Proficiency in our claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite, along with the ability to learn and utilize other technologies relevant to the role.
