This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Conducting investigations of moderately represented claims, which generally encompass uninsured or underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims in both single and multi-car accidents, as well as represented moderate or major claims.
• Managing intricate CPL claims or specialized claims, such as business interruption, loss of income, and E&O policies.
• Collecting recorded statements, addressing loss of use claims, issuing payments to relevant parties, and negotiating or referring bodily injury matters that remain unresolved.
• Confidently and autonomously investigating casualty claims by conducting thorough reviews of damages and interpreting policies to ascertain coverage.
• Engaging with customers through phone calls, emails, and occasionally video chats to facilitate a swift, fair, and seamless claims process.
• Assessing and negotiating claims settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants, adhering to all legal and business standards.
• Employing various tools to efficiently perform tasks in a dynamic environment, including estimation tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms, while applying sharp critical thinking skills.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in liability investigations, bodily injury claim evaluations, and negotiations is preferred.
• Experience in handling casualty claims is essential.
• Prior background in bodily injury claims management or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone, to build rapport and accurately assess claims.
• Capability to work independently and remotely, while effectively managing time.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability assessment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to effectively evaluate and negotiate injury claims.
