Bodily Injury Adjuster – Litigation, Moderate/Complex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conducting investigations into automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles that lead to property damage and/or bodily injury, with attorney and litigation engagement.

• Evaluating coverage, liability, and damages while delivering outstanding customer service throughout the day.

• Participating in negotiation processes to achieve equitable and prompt injury settlements with all parties concerned.

• Interacting with clients and attorneys through various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and text messages.

• Safeguarding the company's financial interests by adhering to policy agreements and ensuring timely and precise documentation within the claims system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in handling represented or litigation third-party casualty claims is essential.

• Experience with bodily injury claims in Maryland, Virginia, DC, West Virginia, or Delaware is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing moderate to complex bodily injury claims is preferred.

• Prior experience with litigation claims is an advantage.

• Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone, to build rapport and assess claims accurately.

• Capability to work independently and remotely while efficiently managing time.

• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, liability determination, and relevant state regulations.

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to effectively evaluate and negotiate injury claims.

• Familiarity with innovative tools and platforms for efficient claims assessment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
