Blockchain Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create smart contract frameworks for new blockchain launches, DeFi interoperability, bridging solutions, and DeFi protocols.

• Incorporate security, operability, and sustainable maintenance into designs.

• Safeguard contract security throughout its lifecycle, ensuring upgrade safety, administrative controls, and operational safeguards.

• Develop tools and automated systems for secure contract visibility, monitoring, and management.

• Connect smart contracts with web applications, operational workflows, and end-user products.

• Collaborate with product, legal, compliance, web, and operations teams.

• Partner closely with senior engineers and leadership on significant blockchain initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Located in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in software engineering.

• More than 1 year of experience in blockchain engineering, preferably with a DeFi protocol operating on multiple chains.

• Strong proficiency in Solidity.

• Familiarity with non-EVM smart contract languages, especially Solana, is an advantage.

• Proven capability in designing systems that include tooling, automation, security throughout the contract lifecycle, and integration points across contracts, applications, and operational teams.

• Documented success in building and scaling a DeFi protocol.

• Experience with Python and/or TypeScript is preferred.

• Strong technical understanding and excellent judgment in task prioritization.

• A significant focus on comprehending the "why" behind requirements and articulating the "minimum scope."
