Blade Data Capture Specialist – External Drone Pilot

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Perform drone inspections of wind turbine blades and other infrastructure while adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Execute image and data capture missions with a high level of accuracy and minimal errors.

• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot remote-controlled equipment under various field conditions.

• Achieve data capture performance goals, including completion rates, data management, image quality, safety performance metrics, and project communication.

• Train new Data Capture Specialists or Contractors based on the proficiency of the employee.

• Uphold high safety standards during all operations in accordance with industry best practices, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Adhere to and maintain relevant product-specific certifications and qualifications, such as EASA A1/A3, STS (Standard Scenario), and GWO.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in wind turbine inspections and advanced data capture techniques.

• Possession of EASA A1/A3 Global Wind Organization training certifications or willingness to complete necessary courses.

• STS (Standard Scenario) certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Willingness to travel domestically 75%-100% to support operational needs.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines.

• Adaptability to various working environments is crucial.

• Experience in implementing and managing client Scope of Work (SOW) objectives.

• Capability to collaborate with various teams and individuals to reach a consensus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs with ease.

• Capacity to sit and stand for extended periods.

• Willingness to work at heights.

• Comfortable working in outdoor environments throughout the year.
