This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Operate independently as the lead statistician, executing essential project statistician tasks and duties.
• Conduct statistical analyses.
• Create specifications for tables, listings, and figures.
• Review formatted datasets and statistical outputs, including tables, listings, and figures.
• Ensure adherence to departmental standard operating procedures and protocols for statistical analyses and programming.
• Lead project teams, facilitate meetings, manage timelines, evaluate resources, prepare budgets, and ensure proper documentation.
• Engage with sponsors regarding all facets of projects.
• Collaborate with programmers and data management teams on database upkeep, updates, and documentation.
• Offer guidance on database structures utilized for analysis.
• Conduct sample size calculations.
• Evaluate protocols for thoroughness, appropriateness of clinical design, and robust statistical analysis.
• Develop randomization schemes and maintain documentation.
• Formulate statistical analysis plans, which include specifications for tables, listings, and figures.
• Execute SAS programming tasks, encompassing the preparation of analysis-specific datasets and the implementation of statistical models.
• Review reports, documents, and manuscripts; contribute to the statistical methods sections and ensure completeness and consistency.
• Monitor project budgets in relation to project scope and communicate any potential scope changes to management.
• A Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Biostatistics.
• Previous experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) is preferred.
• A combination of relevant education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered as equivalent.
• Proficient SAS® programming skills, including BASE, STAT, MACRO, and GRAPH.
• Familiarity with statistical modeling using SAS.
• Knowledge of R is a plus.
• Strong understanding of statistical principles and solid statistical skills.
• Ability to create specifications for tables, listings, and figures, and assist in the review of study deliverables.
• Demonstrated project management skills through the oversight of multiple studies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Capacity to foster teamwork in a multi-disciplinary and global team environment.
• A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Commitment to adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards.
