Biostatistician – Biomarker Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Provide support to senior biostatisticians in clinical study activities, which encompass study design, sample size calculations, patient randomization, data analysis, and reporting of results.

• Aid in the statistical components of case report form creation.

• Contribute to the writing of statistical analysis plans, define derived data, and create statistical tables and figures for clinical summary reports.

• Develop specifications for data quality control and employ relevant programming languages and software.

• Create and implement programs for data manipulation and analysis.

• Assist in performing statistical analyses and interpreting the findings.

• Prepare statistical summary reports and contribute to the statistical methods sections of integrated study reports.

• Collaborate effectively within a sponsor-dedicated model across various clinical programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in a biostatistics position within the pharmaceutical, clinical research, or healthcare sectors is preferred.

• Experience with biomarkers is required.

• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, study design, sample size calculations, and patient randomization.

• Familiarity with statistical analysis plans and the creation of statistical tables, figures, and data listings for clinical reports.

• Excellent data analysis capabilities, including data manipulation, retrieval, and interpretation.

• Proficient in applicable programming languages and statistical software packages.

• Competence in writing and implementing programs for selecting, retrieving, manipulating, editing, and analyzing data.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
