Biomedical Technician 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responds to service inquiries to assess, diagnose, and execute repairs and planned maintenance (PM) on advanced biomedical equipment for customers.

• Drives customer satisfaction through outstanding service quality.

• Analyze complex issues related to customer biomedical equipment, carry out appropriate repairs, conduct PM and safety/environmental inspections, and maintain effective relationships with customers.

• Guide others as necessary regarding relevant GE policies, procedures, hospital protocols, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.

• Establish and engage in proactive daily communication with customers to guarantee resolution and proper follow-up, fostering strong relationships and customer satisfaction.

• Communicate effectively and collaborate with teammates and colleagues.

• Implement GE/customer facility contracts and support the goals and objectives of the customer and business.

• Lead, instruct, and assist technicians in handling both basic and complex repairs and resolutions.

• Share on-call responsibilities.

• Document all repair activities and submit reports/summaries in accordance with the schedule.

• Ensure proper management of spare parts, tools, and testing equipment, and maintain calibration standards.

• Maintain an approved inventory of parts.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience servicing medical equipment, or equivalent military education.

• High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 years of experience in servicing medical equipment.

• Proficiency in using electronic documentation tools (e.g., iPad, iPhone).

• Familiarity with software programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).

• Experience in developing and maintaining positive customer relationships across all levels (e.g., nurses, doctors, leadership).
