Biology Expert – AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Develop sophisticated biology challenges that test state-of-the-art AI systems

• Design deterministic tasks that yield a single correct solution

• Provide complete and validated solutions

• Construct problems that encompass experimental reasoning, biological systems, computational analysis, or bioinformatics processes

• Utilize Python and, when applicable, specific biology or bioinformatics tools

• Maintain high standards of rigor, reproducibility, and technical clarity

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Biology or a related life sciences discipline

• Experience in research or industry related to computational or quantitative biological analysis

• Proficient in Python; familiarity with data analysis or bioinformatics workflows is preferred

• Excellent reasoning skills and comfort with complex scientific problem-solving

• Capability to formulate original, challenging problems rooted in practical biological applications

• Proficient written English and strong attention to detail

• Familiarity with bioinformatics toolkits, genomics workflows, structural biology tools, or computational biology methods (Nice to have)

• Experience in designing technical assessments or scientific challenge problems (Nice to have)

• Cross-disciplinary experience that integrates biology and computation (Nice to have)
