Biology Expert – AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Develop sophisticated biology challenges that push the limits of advanced AI systems.

• Create tasks that are deterministic and yield a single correct solution.

• Provide complete and verified solutions for submitted tasks.

• Construct problems that incorporate experimental reasoning, biological systems, computational analysis, or bioinformatics workflows.

• Utilize Python and, when applicable, specific biology or bioinformatics tools.

• Maintain high standards of rigor, reproducibility, and technical precision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Biology or a related life sciences discipline.

• Experience in research or industry focusing on computational or quantitative biological analysis.

• Proficient in Python; familiarity with data analysis or bioinformatics workflows is preferred.

• Excellent reasoning skills and ease with multi-step scientific problem-solving.

• Capability to generate original, challenging problems rooted in real-world biological practices.

• Proficient in written English with a keen eye for detail.

• Preferred: Experience with bioinformatics toolkits, genomics workflows, structural biology tools, or computational biology techniques.

• Background in designing technical assessments or scientific challenge problems.

• Cross-disciplinary experience that bridges biology and computation.
