BIM Project Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee design drafting and BIM initiatives for Revit-centered projects

• Establish Revit models and project workspaces

• Collaborate with external partners to integrate BIM workspaces

• Create and uphold Revit standards

• Develop Revit content libraries and families

• Lead processes for model clash detection and coordination

• Collaborate with designers and drafters within project teams

• Provide AutoCAD drafting and design services

• Gather site data through 3D scanning, measurements, or sketches

• Convert site data into client MEP drawings

• Review and verify drawings/models for discrepancies and clashes

• Create drawing sets for review, permitting, bidding, or construction

• Support internal drafting and BIM standardization efforts

• Collect data and documentation, participate in project teams and field investigations, and produce drawings or 3D models for engineering clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Revit-based BIM design and drafting

• Completion of high school and technical school or equivalent training

• Technical training or higher qualification in Drafting

• Expertise in Revit BIM and AutoCAD design drafting

• Proven experience in setting up Revit models and workspaces

• Experience in coordinating BIM workspaces with external entities

• Proven track record of developing and enforcing Revit standards

• Experience in building Revit content libraries and families

• Familiarity with model clash detection and coordination

• Capability to gather site data through 3D scans, measurement, or sketches

• Ability to check and verify drawings/models for errors and clashes

• Valid driver's license required

• Basic oral and written communication skills
