BIM Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for providing BIM support within Design Consulting and Design Build initiatives

• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and Project Designers

• Generate security installation drawings, including floor plans, riser diagrams, details, and schedules

• Create the Information Model utilizing Autodesk Revit

• Work with customer-supplied REVIT files to prepare security systems installation drawings

• Develop additional BIM Objects (Revit Families) as necessary

• Produce Project Deliverables derived from the Information Model

• Modify BIM models as instructed by the customer

• Create and gather various 2D drawings to be integrated into the BIM model

• Ensure complete coordination of all components within the Information Model

• Maintain orderly project files, model versions, drawing records, and documentation

• Review drawings and models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency

• Submit information for approval as per the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)

• Adhere to BIM execution plans, CAD/BIM standards, naming conventions, and quality control protocols

• Conduct interference/clash detection to identify design conflicts

• Assist in creating and sustaining project models in alignment with company standards

• Report any coordination challenges to the lead project designer

• Participate in weekly meetings and provide updates to the lead designer

• Conduct "self-checking" within the Information Model

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Certification in BIM Software (Revit)

• Certification in BIM Software (Navisworks)

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred

• At least three years of prior Revit experience is required

• Minimum of three years of experience in the electronic security industry is preferred

• Proficient in using Navisworks Manager

• Autodesk Certified User - Revit

• Autodesk Certified Professional - Revit

• Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S) is preferred
