This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The BIM Manager is an individual who is enthusiastic about the BIM process and provides support to MEP Engineers across various teams.
• The role encompasses both small and large-scale mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection projects.
• This individual will take charge of creating and updating models, modeling and annotating all trades, as well as managing general graphics and data for their assigned models.
• The BIM Manager will collaborate with the engineering team and maintain close interactions with the project management team.
• They will independently manage daily tasks while receiving overarching guidance on new projects or assignments.
• The role includes leading production teams to deliver projects with complex scopes.
• They will coordinate the efforts of other team members.
• The BIM Manager will align their communication and operations with the organization's goals and values, along with departmental objectives.
• A minimum of seven years of experience in producing construction documents using Revit for an MEP Engineering Firm.
• Proficient in generating industry-standard work products for MEP Engineering Firms (e.g., construction drawings).
• Expertise in using Revit and BIM 360.
• Proficient in Navisworks.
• Skilled in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) with outstanding organizational skills for file management.
• Strong active listening skills, demonstrating full attention to others, understanding their points, asking relevant questions, and refraining from interruptions.
• Competent in completing assignments accurately with a strong focus on detail.
• Ability to attentively participate in project meetings, be open to advice from more experienced colleagues, and have a desire to advance as a Revit user and model manager.
• Capable of thriving in a remote work environment through effective communication, organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness, and resourcefulness in a distraction-free setting.
• Proficient in planning and delegating tasks to others.
• Ability to manage the production of multiple drawings/projects simultaneously.
• Capable of collaborating with engineers and design teams to integrate MEP design concepts into Revit and comprehend all components of engineering construction documents.
• Effective communication skills in both oral and written forms (technical and non-technical information).
• Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Committed to following company and site safety protocols.
• Proficient in analyzing and preparing documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Ability to work within interdepartmental teams on multi-role initiatives.
• Skilled in identifying and analyzing complex problems, evaluating alternatives, and implementing effective solutions.
