• Take ownership of the complete billing process for both subscription and usage-based revenue.
• Ensure invoices are generated accurately and on time.
• Oversee the billing queue, including prioritization and execution.
• Analyze and resolve intricate billing situations (such as proration, expansions, and terminations).
• Make immediate decisions to keep the billing process progressing smoothly.
• Minimize reliance on manual reviews by standardizing workflows.
• Lead the Accounts Receivable team responsible for billing and collections.
• Confirm that tasks are completed accurately and punctually.
• Offer guidance, prioritize tasks, and ensure accountability.
• Collaborate with systems teams to enhance automation and workflows.
• Provide insights on process inefficiencies and gaps.
• Facilitate the adoption of new tools and procedures.
• Identify chances to streamline billing workflows.
• Reduce manual workload through improved process design.
• Enhance invoice quality to decrease customer inquiries.
• Monitor and report on essential billing metrics, such as efficiency, cycle time, and accuracy.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue operations.
• Strong comprehension of subscription and/or usage-based billing systems.
• Proven experience managing high-volume billing operations.
• Experience in team management or serving as a team leader, including task prioritization, guidance, and accountability.
• Ability to maintain a balance between accuracy and speed in execution.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Customer teams.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making capabilities.
• Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
