Billing Coordinator III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Gain an understanding of organizational systems and propose modifications or new procedures tailored to specific customer or business-user requirements.

• Review and confirm daily expense payments and/or weekly billing for individual clients.

• Prepare and manage audit documentation to ensure operational and contractual accuracy.

• Conduct daily audits of manifests by validating notes, adding revenue, and reviewing expenses for payment.

• Utilize the Customer Weekly Report to perform daily audits of manifests.

• Generate invoices for assigned clients on a daily and/or weekly basis.

• Comprehend the contract specifics for each assigned client.

• Organize client contract files and execute audits as directed by the Supervisor.

• Maintain documentation of client billing instructions.

• Serve as a backup for other clients when another Billing Specialist is absent from the office.

• Liaise with field operations via email or phone for clarification purposes.

• Investigate order discrepancies or prior billings to ensure accuracy.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.

• Proficient in computer use with a general understanding of Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision is needed.

• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate business needs is a requirement.

• Exceptional customer service skills are necessary.

• Capability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet tight deadlines is essential.
