Billing Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Generate precise client installment and audit invoices in accordance with various lines of business.

• Accurately record revenue based on client and location.

• Analyze discrepancies between revenue and budget variances.

• Produce accurate installment and per-claim invoices for designated clients.

• Appropriately allocate revenue to the correct clients and company locations.

• Create and manage department spreadsheets.

• Maintain a system of Recurring Journal Entries to correctly defer annual, semi-annual, and quarterly revenue.

• Input journal entries for the accounting team.

• Keep client billing files updated with current billing instructions and contracts.

• Generate monthly reports comparing revenue to budget variances.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

• Assist in the organization's quality program(s).

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

• An associate degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution is preferred.

• A minimum of two (2) years of billing or relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.

• Familiarity with general accounting principles.

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.

• Proficiency in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adhere to deadlines.

• Capacity to work effectively within a team setting.

• Capability to meet or surpass Performance Competencies.

• Ability to manage work-related stress.

• Proficiency in handling multiple priorities at the same time.

• Competence in keyboarding.
