Billing and Follow Up Representative – Hospital Medical Billing Follow-up, Medicare Advantage Payor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute daily billing operations and follow-up tasks within revenue management.

• Record claims that have been billed, paid, and their follow-up status in the systems.

• Detect and escalate any issues that may impact the accuracy of billing.

• Engage directly with payers for inquiries regarding payments.

• Examine and rectify billing discrepancies.

• Actively pursue late payments and generate necessary reports as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma and successful completion of the Trinity Health Trainee program or a minimum of one (1) year of experience in pertinent revenue cycle operations.

• Relevant understanding of revenue cycle operations and systems within healthcare environments.

• Experience in processing medical claims, providing financial counseling, or engaging in customer service activities.

• Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with strong organizational capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to work independently and effectively manage time.

• Must be at ease working within a collaborative shared leadership framework.
