This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in professional and prompt communication with companies, institutions, and students.
• Ensure that all billing processes are completed accurately, timely, and remain current.
• Oversee the aging of accounts and mitigate the organization’s exposure to bad debt.
• Dispatch billing to companies, institutions, students, and sponsors to secure necessary funding.
• Collaborate with other Kaplan and Purdue Global support teams to provide precise answers to inquiries about products and services available to companies, institutions, and students.
• Certify the eligibility of Military students as needed, following the appropriate processes (e.g., Vocational Rehabilitation, Go Army Education, Air Force, Marines, Navy, etc.).
• Prioritize workload effectively to ensure follow-up on all queues and shared departmental email accounts.
• Contribute to the creation and documentation of departmental Statements of Processes.
• Identify and resolve problems while enhancing processes that benefit Kaplan, companies, institutions, and students.
• Support the Accounting Department in addressing deposit issues at the end of the month.
• An Associate’s Degree in Business, Communications, or Accounting is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, or a related client servicing role is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word at an intermediate level.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Google Sheets and Google Docs.
• Exceptional Customer Service and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional and polished telephone communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with a high level of detail orientation.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve objectives.
• Competence in organizing and handling large volumes of complex information.
• Proficient in establishing rapport and collaborating effectively with all team members across various functions.
• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting analysis and findings effectively in both verbal and written formats.
• High level of maturity, professionalism, and diplomacy.
