This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Carry out daily billing cycles, ensuring the timely creation, distribution, and correction of invoices within the ERP system.
• Handle standard billing adjustments, credit/debit memos, and chargebacks under the guidance of L4; maintain precise billing logs and audit trails.
• Process a high volume of customer payments (electronic, wire, checks) and reconcile these payments with invoices and bank statements.
• Oversee and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and basic escalation items daily to uphold the accuracy of the AR sub-ledger.
• Assist with periodic reconciliations and provide necessary documentation for month-end closing activities.
• Conduct outbound collections activities at the L3 level: issue dunning notices, follow up on overdue accounts, and update AR aging notes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for standard customer billing/payment inquiries; resolve routine problems and escalate complex disputes to the L4 Analyst.
• Engage in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for SFDC/NetSuite and related system updates by executing assigned test scripts and documenting defects.
• Help draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and training materials to ensure operational continuity.
• Acquire and implement new system enhancements and workflow improvements to boost processing speed and accuracy.
• Provide daily status reports and updates to the L4 Analyst, ensuring that handoffs are properly documented.
• 1–3 years of practical experience in billing, accounts receivable, cash application, or collections (experience in shared services/corporate finance is a plus).
• Basic understanding of ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and strong skills in Google Sheets/Excel (including vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas).
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for professional interactions with customers and collaboration across functions.
• Strong attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy in high-volume tasks, and a willingness to learn about complex financial workflows.
