📋 Description

• Prepare and submit billing information and medical claims (for both hospital and physician services) to insurance providers, adhering to federal, state, and payer-required guidelines.

• Meet productivity benchmarks while ensuring high-quality standards are upheld.

• Verify appropriate submission and payment of hospital claims by reviewing and correcting claim edits, errors, and denials.

• Research, follow up with payers, and manage assigned claims.

• Execute posting billing adjustments.

• Ensure timely management of billing reroutes, in line with company protocols.

• Carry out responsibilities in a professional and timely manner.

• Strive for maximum reimbursement for services rendered.

• Be punctual, reliable, and adaptable to change.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with the EPIC system is preferred.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• An associate's degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Biller or in a related position.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and virtual meeting platforms such as GoToMeeting and Zoom.

• Competent with computers, including software like Microsoft Office Suite/Teams, GoToMeeting/Zoom, etc.

• Familiarity with ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes, as well as CPT/HCPCS codes.

• Understanding of rules and regulations related to medical billing practices.

• Knowledgeable in revenue cycle data analysis and interpretation.

• Skilled in investigating medical accounts.

• Proficient with billing software and electronic medical records.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent professional writing and communication skills.

• Effective time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to problem-solve and stay organized.

• Capable of multitasking and managing time efficiently.

• Detail-oriented.
