This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries from both potential and current NJ Family Care beneficiaries, as well as community-based organizations regarding the NJ Family Care Program.
• Engage in one-on-one telephone interactions with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees while fulfilling customer service duties.
• Diligently record enrollment requests, status updates, complaints, and grievances.
• Input application and enrollment data into a web-based computer system for customers seeking to apply for the program via telephone.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of technical and program policy aspects of the NJ Family Care regulations and associated program policies.
• Deliver clear, complete, accurate, and objective information derived from a comprehensive understanding of program requirements.
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a call center or customer service environment (preferred).
• Proficient in multitasking and effectively navigating computer systems.
• Reliable internet connection and a distraction-free remote workspace.
• Ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication and active listening abilities.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Background check and drug screening are mandatory.
