Bilingual Security Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Drive and support commercial growth initiatives as a Security Partner in Canada.

• Assist Business Development Managers and Account Managers in maintaining and enhancing existing client partnerships.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for intricate new business prospects, including bids, tenders, and RFPs.

• Contribute to the design and innovation of Security Consulting and Managed Services solutions.

• Cultivate professional security expertise to promote consulting opportunities within Canada.

• Work collaboratively with the regional Consulting & Solutions Practice to identify and scope out opportunities.

• Co-create and take ownership of go-to-market and expansion strategies to encourage new business and retention.

• Represent International SOS in professional forums and media engagements across Canada.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both English and French, with advanced writing skills.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in security, politics, international relations, law enforcement, criminal science, disaster management, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience in security, including field security, corporate security, consulting, military, police, intelligence, NGO, disaster management, or a related academic field.

• Familiarity with field and/or corporate security practices.

• Understanding of planning, developing, and delivering security consulting solutions; experience in business development is a plus.

• Experience in risk and crisis management; relevant certifications are advantageous.

• Strong understanding of security and risk mitigation concepts.

• Excellent communication, report writing, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
