Bilingual Registered Dietitian – Bariatric, Medical Nutrition Therapy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual, personalized nutrition counseling for patients undergoing preoperative and postoperative bariatric procedures.

• Educate patients about nutrition, portion control, protein consumption, hydration, supplementation, and sustainable lifestyle modifications.

• Evaluate nutritional requirements, track progress, and create tailored care plans.

• Provide medical nutrition therapy for issues such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and other nutrition-related challenges.

• Offer culturally competent nutrition counseling in both English and Spanish.

• Assist patients in recognizing obstacles, establishing realistic goals, and implementing sustainable behavior changes.

• Ensure precise and timely clinical documentation is completed.

• Collaborate with referring healthcare providers and other clinical team members as necessary.

• Adhere to established clinical protocols and professional care standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with the capacity to offer clinical nutrition counseling in both languages.

• Experience in delivering personalized medical nutrition therapy.

• Excellent patient education, communication, and motivational interviewing abilities.

• Comfortable with telehealth technology and electronic health records.

• Appropriate state licensure or eligibility to practice in the states where patients are served.

• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

• Preferred: Experience in bariatric nutrition counseling, including preoperative or postoperative care.

• Preferred: Background in obesity management, weight management, or metabolic health.

• Preferred: Knowledge of bariatric nutrition guidelines.

• Preferred: Experience with GLP-1 medications and medical weight management.

• Preferred: Prior telehealth experience.
