
Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Respond to incoming patient calls in both English and Spanish.
• Oversee patient intake and appointment scheduling.
• Provide assistance to patients regarding appointment preparation and follow-up instructions.
• Organize laboratory orders and diagnostic testing.
• Support patients throughout the preoperative medical clearance process.
• Appropriately escalate clinical inquiries to healthcare providers.
• Prepare physician notes and necessary supporting documentation.
• Send medical records and clinical documentation via fax.
• Facilitate communication with referring providers and healthcare partners.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of patient records within practice systems.
• Update patient information and appointment statuses as needed.
• Maintain a professional line of communication with patients, providers, and partner organizations.
• Monitor and promptly respond to email communications.
• Handle multiple administrative workflows while adhering to time-sensitive deadlines.
• Keep patient documentation organized and accurate.
• Assist with various operational and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Prior experience in healthcare or a medical office setting.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Proactive, reliable, and capable of following established clinical workflows.
• Dedicated to fostering a long-term working relationship.
• HIPAA certification required (or willingness to obtain it before starting).
• Experience in handling patient phone calls and coordinating patient care.
• Proficient computer and documentation skills.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities in both English and Spanish.
