Bilingual Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Reach out to individuals or couples who are interested in Hand to Hold's counseling services to facilitate the completion of intake paperwork and coordinate the scheduling of therapy sessions.

• Conduct essential assessments and collaborate with clients to establish their treatment objectives.

• Offer short-term therapy utilizing suitable modalities; counseling sessions are conducted virtually via a telehealth platform.

• Monitor and report program data within designated timelines to gather demographic information and evaluate impact, satisfaction, and overall effectiveness of the program.

• Maintain prompt and regular communication with clients and stakeholders.

• Participate in Hand to Hold staff meetings and provide support to the programs team as necessary.

• Engage in recommended training or professional development opportunities.

• Submit weekly and monthly reports, including program data, timesheets, and expense reports, in a timely manner.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Counseling Program Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Earned a Master's degree in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or a related field from an accredited college or university.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

• Must hold a valid license in the state of Texas as an LPC/LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist (Licensed Interns, Associates, and LMSWs are encouraged to apply).

• Proven experience in serving diverse populations and delivering services with cultural competence.

• Experience in conducting mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.

• Ability to adhere to best practices, maintain confidentiality, uphold ethical standards, and comply with HIPAA regulations.
