Bilingual IT Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Convert business requirements into comprehensive specifications and engage in the high-level design and estimation process.

• Develop software solutions that are in line with the solution architecture and technical roadmap.

• Collaborate closely with the development team to outline functional specifications and necessary system modifications, including non-functional requirements.

• Offer technical support and leadership during incidents or service disruptions to guarantee effective resolution.

• Create user-friendly solutions that enhance user value.

• Decompose development elements into manageable increments that benefit users.

• Work in partnership with the Software Product Owner (SPO), UX designers, and essential stakeholders within a matrix environment.

• Generate documentation for the user community, including release notes and guides.

• Document designs within specified timeframes.

• Collaborate with developers and quality assurance teams to ensure a thorough understanding of the design and alignment of development efforts.

• Assist delivery teams (development and QA) to guarantee high-quality deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business analysis, administration, actuarial mathematics, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis or equivalent expertise in managing complex systems.

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.

• Experience working with a UI/UX design team and an understanding of ergonomic and accessible web application design principles.

• Exceptional synthesis skills with a strong ability to comprehend, systematize, and simplify technical concepts.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Familiarity with common IT technologies.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• Experience within a SAFe environment or large-scale Agile methodologies.

• Involvement in digital transformation or modernization projects.

• Understanding of best practices in product or program management.
